Yes, ScratchJr has a 4 page limit. The two main reasons that ScratchJr has a page limit are for space and to avoid overwhelm for our youngest users.
We include a page limit in the app in order to ensure that projects run smoothly and can be stored easily on the device of choice for the user. For many, ScratchJr is used in schools where devices with relatively small storage capabilities are used, such as tablets or Chromebooks.
Second, ScratchJr is usually used by our youngest users (some as young as 3 or 4!) and we have found the 4 page limit provides a nice introduction to coding a project without feeling overwhelming. There are far fewer limits on Scratch (online or app), so if you are ready to create a bigger project, that might be a great next step!
