There are three ways to add students:
1. Create a Registration Link. This will open enrollment to your class to anyone with the link. You must send this link to your students (via email, for example) and when they navigate to that URL, they will be prompted to create a new account. They will be responsible for choosing their own username and password.
2. Upload a CSV. In this scenario, you create a CSV file with the usernames and passwords and upload the file directly to Scratch. This will create all those accounts specified at once. Your students can then log into Scratch using the username and password combination that you give them (they will not need to provide any additional information).
3. Add One Student at a Time. Using this option, you can create a single student account at a time. The username will be your choice, and the password will automatically be set to your Teacher Account username. Upon logging in, the student will be required to change her password.
